Vikas Girdhar was born on April 21, 1986 in Queens, New York. He has one brother who is four years older than him. Vikas is currently enrolled in Hofstra University’s graduate program for journalism and anticipates a Master of Arts degree by mid-2011. Ideally, he would like to have his own editorial column for a major newspaper some time after graduating. In his spare time, Vikas likes to play basketball and follow the sport professionally, work out, and write.
